Exploring the reinforcing mechanism and micromechanical models for the interphase characteristics in melt mixed <scp>XLPE‐fumed SiO₂</scp> nanocomposites

Abstract We present an experimental and theoretical exploration of well‐dispersed, distinctively stable, fumed SiO 2 crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) nanocomposites. The mechanical properties /XLPE nanocomposites were assessed with different concentrations , which had noticed that network morphology was immensely influential for the performance properties. A reasonable micromechanical models composites indicated theories Nicolais–Narkis, Pukanszky provided excellent fit to yield strength data considering effect interphase between XLPE . Furthermore, it highlights can be superimposed static Pukanszky. Owing proper dispersion nanospheres in matrix, filler‐polymer interactions are found enhanced. Moreover, resulted insulation nanocomposites, makes a better candidate electrical cable insulating materials. combined results structural characterizations by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X‐Ray Diffraction (XRD), Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA), Atomic Force, Transmission Electron Microscopy (AFM, TEM) confirmed role as reinforcing mediator current system.
